The Mummy Manga is Happening for Some Reason
Ganma!, Comic Smart’s free website for manga, has announced that it’ll be releasing four one-shot episodes based on the latest The Mummy film. Yeah, the one with Tom Cruise that didn’t really do well. The Mummy – Dark Stories will tie into the blockbuster film.
Set in London, the manga will follow the rise of the undead after Ahmanet attacks the capital city, and there’s a secret organisation that plays into all of it. Have a look at some art below.
The manga debuts on 15th July, with all four one-shots being completed by the 29th. Each episode will be handled by different artists, and it’ll coincide with the movie’s Japanese release on 28th July. I’m not entirely sure why a The Mummy manga is happening, either.
