Persona 4 coming to PS3 as a PS2 Classic

Persona 4, originally released on PS2 in 2008, will be making its way to PS3 as a PS2 Classic if ESRB are correct. It’s safe to assume it will as Persona 3 FES recently released on PS3 in EU, with NA getting it in 2012.

The ESRB rating, which can be seen here, briefly describes the game and has rated it M for Mature. We assume it’ll be given its original 16+ rating in EU.

Persona 4 Golden released on Vita with a new character, more Personas and extra events last year in EU and 2012 in NA. Whilst we advise you to play Golden due to the added content, you should definitely try and play the PS2 version if you haven’t got access to a Vita.

Whilst there’s no release date yet, it’s safe to assume it’ll release later this year. Speaking as someone who’s favourite game is Persona 4 Golden, it’s still fun to play the PS2 version to compare the differences, especially as Chie and Teddie have different voice actors. I can’t recommend it to you enough!

Spread the love!
