SEGA Mega Drive Classics Collection Heads to PS4 and Xbox One

There are over 50 amazing titles in the upcoming SEGA Mega Drive Classics collection, but there’s one glaring omission – where is Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles? Yes, one of the system’s greatest titles is missing, and we can only wonder why.

Many of these games have been included in previous compilations, but a few are new and it’ll be lovely to have these all in one collection — well, I sorely miss Sonic 3 already, but hopefully SEGA will talk about it someday.

The Mega Drive (or the Genesis in the US) is one of the greatest retro consoles and I have very fond memories of my time with it, and I’m looking forward to having so many of these games at my fingertips yet again. As expected, the SEGA Mega Drive Classics collection is coming to PS4 and Xbox One but, surprisingly, there’s no mention of Switch. It would be a perfect fit for Switch, so hopefully that announcement is coming at a later date.

Spread the love!
