Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance announced, now multiplatform
Revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, Atlus has announced Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, an updated release of the 2021 Switch RPG.
Unlike the original game, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be available on more platforms than the Switch, also coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Players have the option to either go through the standard story available in the previous version of Shin Megami Tensei V, or take on a new path of vengeance with new locations and demons to discover.
As you’d expect from an Atlus re-release, there is no upgrade path/DLC for owners of Shin Megami Tensei V on Switch. A price has also not been made available for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, so it remains to be seen if it ends up at the higher RRP (like with Persona 3 Reload.)
