Unicorn Overlord reaches 500,000 copies sold

Atlus has revealed via a Japanese accolades trailer that strategy RPG Unicorn Overlord has reached 500,000 sales.

Oddly, the trailer (which is essentially a copy of the English accolades trailer but with the sales info) is unlisted, having been uploaded nearly a week ago.

For comparison, Vanillaware’s previous title 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim took over three years to reach one million, which Unicorn Overlord will likely surpass by the end of the year.

Extra ports might have helped with this — Unicorn Overlord is available on four platforms (alongside a worldwide release), while 13 Sentinels was a PS4 exclusive until the Switch release a few years later.
