Star Ocean: The Second Story R update adds new content

Square Enix has released a new Star Ocean: The Second Story R update, which adds in new content and some extra playthrough options.

For players that are looking for an extra challenge, CHAOS difficulty can be chosen when starting a new game. New Game + also allows for the ability to reset your level while still keeping items, if you’d like to keep leveling up characters without fully restarting.

Completion of the main story now includes some new extras as well with the addition of additional items, and fights against The Ten Wise Men. Beating each will unlock them as a summon as part of the Assault Action system (a mechanic added in The Second Story R).
