Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail release date set for July

Square Enix has revealed the Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail release date, and it’s closer that you might have expected.

The latest expansion to Square Enix’s long-running MMO, Dawntrail is set to release on July 2, 2024. As with previous expansions, you’ll actually be able to access the content earlier by pre-ordering.

Anyone that pre-orders Dawntrail — pre-orders open on March 26 — will be able to play the new content on June 28, while also getting access to a Zidane minion and an exp increasing earring in the run up to launch.

A physical collector’s edition is coming as well, featuring a Warrior of Light Viper statue, cloth map, and extra in-game items.
