The Caligula Effect 2 heads west this October

NIS America has announced via a new trailer that The Caligula Effect 2 will launch for the PS4 and Switch in Europe on October 22, 2021 — a few days after the North American October 19 release date.

The Caligula Effect 2 features another virtual reality known as Redo, with the protagonist and their friends forming the “Go-Home Club” in an attempt to escape this fake world. An overview of the story, plus character bios for the main cast, are now available via the official website.

It seems to be retreading a lot of what the original game already did, though there might be more to this sequel than what has been shown in trailers.

NIS America’s European store still has stock for the Limited Edition on both systems — there’s around 26-50% remaining.
