1-button bullet hell game Good Knight hits Steam September 3
Publisher Doublethink Games has announced that Good Knight, a stylish 1-button bullet hell game, will release for PC via Steam on September 3.
Influenced by games like Super-Hexagon, Castlevania, and Touhou — and described as “Filipino Metal meets Dante’s Inferno” by the developer — Good Knight features vibrant bullet patterns as you fight your way through hell.
While the description mentions that this is a one button game, it looks like there are abilities tied to other buttons (such as bullet time) that make the game easier — though these aren’t needed to complete the game.
The latest trailer is a good showcase of the game’s distinct visuals and challenging bullet hell gameplay. With this simple control scheme, Good Knight would be a good fit for both consoles and mobile too — however, potential ports haven’t been mentioned at this time.
