Breath of the Wild sequel delayed to 2023
Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel (which still has no name) has been delayed to Spring 2023.
The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma states in the announcement that the development team needed more time “to make [the] game’s experience something special”, mentioning that the sequel features more gameplay elements and an expanded world compared to its predecessor.
The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was announced nearly three years ago, with the only major reappearance being during E3 2021.
