D3Publisher has revealed that Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will release for Switch and PS4/5 on September 26, 2024.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 brings back the voxel style of the previous spin-off entry, as you once again blast through hundreds of alien invaders to defend Earth.

As is tradition for EDF, you’ll be farming up a hoard of weapons during missions to bolster your firepower further. The same four person party setup returns as well, letting you build a squad of characters taken from Earth Defense Force’s storied history (now including Earth Defense Force 6).

Oddly, the Switch and PS4/5 versions are priced differently. On Switch, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will cost £29.99/$39.99/€39.99, while on PS4/5 it will be £39.99/$49.99/€49.99. No reason is given for the price discrepancy.
