Genshin Impact Version 1.3 arrives early next month
miHoYo has announced the release date for Genshin Impact‘s first update of 2021. Launching February 3, Version 1.3 “All That Glitters” introduces another 5-star character, along with a new season event.
Players will have to wait until later in the year for new regions to be added, but Version 1.3 does at least bring some new content in the meantime.
As shown by the update’s trailer, a large focus of 1.3 is the Lantern Rite, which is essentially Genshin Impact’s equivalent of a Chinese New Year event.
You’ll be assisting with event preparations, while also accompanying Xiao, a man who has been living in solitude for many years. He’s a 5-star anemo element character, though you’ll have to have decent gacha luck to add him to your team.
