Launching some time next year, Gundam Evolution is a 6v6 team-based hero shooter which bears more than a passing resemblance to Blizzard’s Overwatch. There’s the usual mix of FPS gunplay and ability use, just with giant robots instead of ninjas and talking animals.
The official website currently lists 12 playable mecha, including the RX-78-2 Gundam and MS-06 ZAKUⅡ, though it’s not confirmed whether this is the entire launch roster.
A two day PC beta test is being held next month, but only for Japanese players — according to official information, the full version is planned for multiple regions. No launch platforms for Gundam Evolution were revealed, but it’s clearly coming to PC given the upcoming beta.
