Dragon Ball FighterZ rollback, current gen ports releasing February 29
Bandai Namco has announced that the long-awaited Dragon Ball FighterZ rollback update will finally arrive on February 29, 2024.
However, rollback will only be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S — the latter two platforms will also release alongside the update. That means that PS4, Xbox One, and Switch will continue to use the current delay-based netcode.
It was also confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ rollback netcode is only supported in modes that have two players — Circle Party Match and Party Battle mode still feature delay-based netcode because of this.
At the very least, owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions will be able to upgrade to the current gen counterparts at no extra cost.
