Eddy Gordo joins Tekken 8 April 5

Bandai Namco has revealed that Eddy Gordo will join the Tekken 8 roster as paid DLC on April 5, 2024.

The popular capoeira fighter is the first addition as part of the Playable Character Year 1 Pass, which is included in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Tekken 8. Those that own the pass will actually get a slight head start, as he’ll be playable a few days early on April 2.

The ending of the trailer confirms that, despite the new look in Tekken 8, you’ll be able to choose something closer to his previous design (including the old hairstyle).

There are three more characters planned for Playable Character Year 1 Pass as well, with one coming each season during 2024.
