Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness is an action-RPG adaption of the manga and anime series, releasing for PS4, Switch, and PC in 2022. It’ll feature both a story mode that follows the main series’ plot, along with an original story that presumably makes use of the newly revealed character creator.
While these new screenshots do show off some new content, it’s odd that there haven’t been any trailers just yet — games usually open with an initial reveal trailer and then follow up with screenshots, rather than the other way around.
The full set of screenshots can be found via the game’s teaser website. Expect more to come over the coming months as we move into 2022. Hopefully some gameplay footage will be shown soon too, as the Made in Abyss series has the potential to become an interesting RPG.
