Monster Hunter World Gameplay Footage & Trailer Released
Following the reveal of Monster Hunter World by Capcom (coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC), they’ve also released a closer look at Monster Hunter World gameplay via 4gamer. They’ve also released a tonne of screenshots. The game is look very beautiful, and is definitely the most gorgeous looking Monster Hunter World yet.
It’s unclear quite how different Monster Hunter World will be from the rest of the series. Monster Hunter XX still isn’t even out over here yet. It looks like the idea is to have more of a persistent world. Monsters seems to interact together more dynamically before.
There’s a haunting moment in the gameplay video at 2:42 where a lizard monster ingests another monster whole. Forcing these interactions to gain the upper hand seems to be a main tactic here. If you missed the reveal trailer, give that a watch too:
But the main standout of Monster Hunter World so far is just how stunningly detailed it looks. It’s all super high-res. Take a look at the lovely batch of screenshots that have just been released, and tuck into a visual feast.
It’s nice to get a closer look at actually gameplay, but it still feels like there’s so much more to learn about Monster Hunter World. I’m here to listen.
