Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars English release announced for 2021

Neptunia and Senran Kagura. Two franchises that have been avoiding mainline entries for the past few years are combining together to create one more spin-off game: Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars.

Idea Factory International confirmed during its “Online Summer Festival” that Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars will be coming to the west some time this year for the PS4 (an odd choice, considering what happened to Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal).

Developed by Tamsoft, the team behind Senran Kagura, the nations of Heartland and Marveland are required to join forces to defeat an army of mechanical ninjas.

The English announcement trailer only shows off gameplay for Purple Heart and Asuka, though we already know that the other main heroines from Neptunia and Senran Kagura will be playable.

If this ends up following a similar pattern to most Idea Factory International releases, then PC or Switch versions of the game aren’t entirely out of the question at a later date.
