Ni-Oh Trailer – Dark Souls in Feudal Japan
Ni-Oh was one of the few surprises during this year’s TGS. Now at the PlayStation Experience we had a chance to see more of this interesting title.

Ni-Oh actually had a complicated history. The title was first announced way back in 2004, based on the unfinished script by the legendary filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. The game was scheduled to come out in summer 2006, but ended up exiting its alpha stage in years later in 2012.
The story takes place in 16th century Japan and follows a blond samurai who is the son of a Japanese lord and a western woman.
Team Ninja along side with Tecmo Koei are working on this game, which means that we should expect a great hack and slash when it finally comes out.
I'm a huge fan of Japanese games and an aspiring game designer. I play literally every game genre. I also like retro games and miss the challenge that they once had. This is the reason why I love doujin games because they bring back that challenging aspect of retro games while innovating upon it.
