Persona 5 Ships Over 1.5 Million Copies Worldwide

Atlus has announced that Persona 5, the game that’ll cause JRPG’s to never be the same again, has shipped over 1.5 million copies worldwide. With how hard it has been to grab a copy in the UK, it was clear that it was performing incredibly well!

The announcement was made via the games official Japanese website, and you can read it here. As Atlus have done with previous titles in the series, Persona 5 will be further advertised with events such as a concert taking place on 2nd August — this will be the first concert since Persona 5’s release, and the first that will incorporate songs from the latest game. Maybe there will be a stage show too? A manga is already currently publishing in Japan, too!

If you haven’t picked Persona 5 up yet then you definitely should as it’s one of the greatest JRPG’s of all-time. Persona 5 ships can now refer to shipment numbers and pairings in the game now, but that’s a whole other conversation…
