Toukiden 2 Goes Free to Play with Free Alliances

Koei Tecmo has announced Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version which’ll act as a lite, free-to-play version of Toukiden 2. It’ll be available on both PS4 and Vita, will allow you to get a taste of the story and you’ll be able to transfer your save data over if you decide to purchase the full game.

You can take on Group Missions with up to a team of four (yes, you can play with friends online), but these will cost stamina to partake in. You start with a stamina level of 3, with a maximum of 8, with each unit of stamina taking eight hours to replenish. A mission costs stamina and the game itself is pretty addicting, so I think that this Free Alliances Version will work wonders for Koei Tecmo. You can buy gems to recover stamina and upgrade its level.

Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version is set to release digitally on 31st May, on both PS4 and Vita.
