Castlevania’s Animated Series Out This July
Castlevania’s animated adaptation is coming to Netflix in just over a month. It will be a violent and gory spectacle that is inspired by the poplar Game of Thrones series.
The story roughly follows the events of Castlevania III, where the last surviving member of the Belmont clan wants to rid Eastern Europe of Vlad Dracula.
The show will be available on Netflix starting July 7th. The first four 30-minute episodes titled Castlevania Season 1 Part 1 will be available this July.
The trailer has some throwbacks to retro gaming and is followed by a few brief scenes from the show. Check this first trailer bellow:
I'm a huge fan of Japanese games and an aspiring game designer. I play literally every game genre. I also like retro games and miss the challenge that they once had. This is the reason why I love doujin games because they bring back that challenging aspect of retro games while innovating upon it.
