Genshin Impact Version 1.1 arrives on November 11

miHoYo have revealed that the next major update for Genshin Impact, Version 1.1, will be launching November 11.

Titled ‘A New Star Approaches’, this update will complete Chapter 1 of the main storyline, concluding the Traveler’s adventures in Liyue. Four new playable characters are also being added, including the fan favourite polearm user Zhongli.

Players will also be able to increase their reputation in each of Genshin Impact’s main cities. There’ll a bunch of rewards, like a portable stove and treasure compass. miHoYo also mentioned that there would be customization items as rewards too, which probably means we’ll at least be getting more glider skins.

Coming alongside Version 1.1 is a two week seasonal event called ‘Unreconciled Stars’. By completing various challenges, it’ll be possible to get 4-star character Fischl for free.

Finally, it was confirmed that Genshin Impact will be playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility, bringing improved graphics and load times. This isn’t a huge surprise, as Sony have already presented a list of PS4 games that wont work on their new console.
