Hello Kitty, Monster Rancher DLC announced for Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania

The Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania crossover characters keep on coming, but now they’re arriving from non-Sega franchises as well.

Both Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and Monster Rancher’s Suezo will be joining the game as DLC, priced at $4.99 each. Hello Kitty can be bought at launch, with Suezo available from October 19, 2021.

The inclusion of Hello Kitty as part of the game’s DLC line-up is definitely unexpected, but Suezo opens up the gates to even more gaming cameos. Perhaps there’ll additional Koei Tecmo characters, or ones from other Japanese publishers such as Square Enix or Bandai Namco.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania launches for Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on October 5, 2021.
