Jack-O’ joins Guilty Gear Strive’s roster next week

The second DLC character coming to Guilty Gear Strive is Jack-O’, arriving on August 27, 2021.

Making her first playable appearance in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Jack-O’s game plan in Strive still seems to revolve around the use of various minions to pressure her opponents.

From the trailer, her moveset doesn’t seem quite as annoying as her Xrd incarnation, but there’s still plenty of potential for shenanigans.

Despite DLC character 2 arriving only a month after Goldlewis, the Season Pass 1 roadmap suggests that future updates will be spaced further apart. Only one more character is planned for 2021, with the final two for this season — including the extra stages and story content — arriving during 2022.

Based on leaks (and the fact that they’re important to the main story of Strive), Happy Chaos is a likely candidate for the next DLC reveal. This would leave the final spots free for returning characters, potentially bringing playable stages from previous entries along with them.
