Whip is King of Fighters XIV’s First DLC Character
Atlus and Deep Silver have revealed that Whip, who unsurprisingly fights using a whip, will be the first DLC character to join the ranks of King of Fighters XIV. It seems that another two characters are already in the works too, as teased at the end of Whip’s reveal trailer.
As you can see in the trailer below, Whip is an aggressive character who fights pretty close-up despite having a long-range weapon. Her design is rad, too.
Whip releases on 5th April for $4.99, and presumably £3.99 or £4.99, exclusively on PS4. Whip was originally introduced in King of Fighters ’99, so I’m sure fans are happy to see her return again. Any guesses on who the two teased characters at the end are?
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
