Yakuza’s Kiryu joining Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
Beat wont be the only human added to Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, with Yakuza’s Kiryu joining in on the fun as an unlockable character.
What would be an odd experience for some is just another substory for the Dragon of Dojima, as he rolls around Banana Mania’s remastered stages, collecting bottles of Staminam X along the way.
His inclusion isn’t too strange, as the game is being developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the team behind Yakuza.
Kiryu is the fourth Sega crossover character confirmed for the game, with Sega having revealed that Sonic will return to the series alongside Tails.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania launches October 5, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam. With a few months left until launch, there’s still plenty of time for even more character reveals.
