Pyra and Mythra join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tomorrow
During Nintendo‘s “Battling with Pyra/Mythra” presentation, featuring series director Masahiro Sakurai, it was announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 2‘s Pyra and Mythra will be available in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on March 5.
As part of Fighters Pass Vol. 2 — or £5.39/€5.99 on their own — the two blades come with the Cloud Sea of Alrest stage and a good selection of songs from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Rex also makes a few appearances, as part of Pyra and Mythra’s final smash and certain win screens.
As is customary at this point, Sakurai also revealed a new set of Mii costumes. These include a few Monster Hunter Mii Swordfighter outfits — plus a Felyne hat — and Arthur from Ghost’n’Goblins.
In the American presentation, Pyra and Mythra are shown as releasing today, so they’ll likely be available early in the morning for those of us in Europe.
