Splatoon 3 Side Order DLC releasing February
Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 3 Side Order, Wave 2 of the game’s Expansion Pass content, will release on February 22, 2024.
Splatoon 3 Side Order is a single-player mode that revolves around a mysterious tower. Playing as Agent 8, you’ll climb the tower and deal with waves of enemies on each floor.
Based on information revealed last year, it looks like this mode will be similar to roguelite games, having you constantly challenge a series of randomised areas and gaining permanent bonuses along the way. It’s a different approach to Splatoon 2‘s single-player expansion, seemingly offering more replayability for long time fans of the series.
While Splatoon 3 will likely get a few more updates during 2024, Side Order is the last planned paid DLC as part of the Expansion Pass.
