SINoALICE New Smartphone Game From Square Enix and Yoko Taro
Square Enix just announced its upcoming iOS and Android title SINoALICE. Yoko Taro, the man known for the NieR and Drakengard series is the creative director, and it shows. The game’s tagline is “This is the worst story” and with such overflowing pessimism we can’t but be excited.
The game is developed by Pocket Laboratory, a Japanese company known for releasing a number of iOS and Android games over the years. As with most mobile games, you can expect a free to play model with in-game microtransactions.
Pre-registration is already up on the official website. Players can register via Twitter, Facebook or Line to get bonuses once the game is out depending on the number of pre-registered users:
10,000 pre-registrations – 20 Gems
30,000 pre-registrations – 40 Gems
50,000 pre-registrations – 50 Gems
70,000 pre-registrations – Dummy Flying Dragon Magic Tool
100,000 pre-registrations – “???” Exclusive Job
While ultimately this may only end up being just another forgettable mobile game, we hope that Yoko Taro’s unique yet frequently disturbing storytelling will make it stand out from the crowd.
