Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle English release announced, coming this Summer
Marvelous Europe and Xseed Games have announced that Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle will be coming to the west this Summer.
Champion’s Battle is based on the Shadowverse anime, which features cards from the main game in a more light-hearted setting.
You take the role of a transfer student at Tensei Academy, who must save its Shadowverse club by winning the upcoming national championship — about what you’d expect from a shonen card game anime.
While the card battling gameplay should be familiar to those that have played the original F2P mobile and PC title, you’ll now be able to gain cards by defeating NPCs at the academy and surrounding areas.
Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle will be released both physically and digitally, accompanied by a battle pass for extra in-game rewards. There’s no official website right now, but the reveal trailer does featuring the game’s English dub.
