Further to a few gameplay and story details, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has provided a look at the first Zanki Zero screenshots! The screenshots give us a look at one of the character models, as well as the game’s surprisingly bright post-apocalyptic setting. There’s also a larger version of one of the earlier pieces of key art.
The ‘zanki’, or ‘remaining lives’, counter in the top left corner of the first screenshot is notable! I can’t help but wonder how much that counter will have gone down by at the end of the game. It’s not been stated whether or not the game will have multiple endings, but perhaps that would be a significant change if it does. The backgrounds are all so nice too. Misleadingly nice, I’m sure. It’s certainly shaping up to be an interesting title!
Zanki Zero is in development for PS4 and PS Vita.
