There’s been a lot of Final Fantasy VII news over the past few days, including both a PS5 release for Final Fantasy VII Remake, and two mobile titles. Now today, Sony has revealed than next month’s PlayStation Plus games will include Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4.
However, unlike regularly purchased versions of the game, which can be upgraded to PS5 for free from June 10, those that redeem it via PS Plus will not get the same benefit.
Some Plus games have been PS5 only even when PS4 versions existed, but this is the first time it’ll be the other way around.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is still a great game even on last-gen consoles, but this means that you’ll have to buy the game eventually if you’re interested in the PS5-exclusive Yuffie DLC episode.
