Capcom have revealed 2 new videos of the Resident Evil 4 Remaster village, and of Ashley too! The hotly anticipated remaster of Resident Evil 4, one of the most divisive in the series yet one of the most influential games of all time, is due for release shortly at the end of August.
The game is looking pretty good, though we’ll wait until we can get hands on with it before we sing its praises too much. Given how much we do enjoy a good bit of Resident Evil though it’s great to see such a landmark title making its way on to the current generation of consoles.
Resident Evil 4 Remaster follows on from the recent rereleases of remastered versions of Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 5 on the current generation consoles. It’s neat to see these title brought forward, as even though they’ve all been available on the previous generation it can be a hassle to dig out those old machines and get them all plugged in. With that said it’s fair to say Resident Evil 4 has been a bit more anticipated a rerelease than the numbered titles that proceed it.
A remake of Resident Evil 2 has also been announced without much information surrounding it, and the next numbered title in the series, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, is due out as soon as January of next year. We played through the demo of Resident Evil 7, and are also currently having a great time playing through Resident Evil HD Remastered, so be sure to check those out below!
