In Rune Factory 5, you play as the newest member of SEED, a peacekeeping organisation in the Norad Kingdom. As is tradition at this point in the series, the main character also has amnesia.
The game once again mixes together a number of gameplay styles, including farming and real-time combat, as you explore dungeons, grow crops, and deepen your bonds with the townsfolk.
The trailer also marks the start of digital pre-orders via the Nintendo eShop. Starting today, you’ll be able to pre-order standard and Digital Deluxe editions of the game. The latter includes the Rune Factory 4 Marriage Candidates Outfits Set, costumes for the main cast that are also available with the physical Limited Edition.
Additionally, digital pre-orders come with the Holy Knight and the Bibliophile Swimsuit Set (also based on outfits from Rune Factory 4), and the New Ranger Care Package Item Pack.
Rune Factory 5 launches exclusively for Switch on March 25, 2022. It will feature all post-launch patches from the Japanese version, including same-sex relationships.
