Rune Factory 5 Limited Edition announced

Marvelous Games has announced that the western version of Rune Factory 5 will also be getting a Limited Edition at launch.

Priced at £64.99 / €79,99, this edition is mostly the same as its Japanese “Premium Box” counterpart, including an artbook and soundtrack CD. However, there’s also an additional steelbook exclusive to this version.

Costume DLC is part of the collection as well — presumably the Rune Factory 4 outfits from the Premium Box edition, letting you dress up as that game’s main cast.

In the UK, the Rune Factory 5 Limited Edition will unfortunately only be available via GAME, while the rest of Europe should be able to pick it up at multiple retailers. Pre-orders for both the Limited and Standard Editions from participating retailers (GAME exclusive in the UK once again) will come with an additional Wooly plush bag tag.

Rune Factory 5 launches March 25, 2022 in Europe. It’ll include same-sex relationships and marriage at launch, a first for the Rune Factory franchise.
