Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival’s free spring and summer updates bring Yoko Takahashi and more

The world’s most colourful and fun drumming game is back – all-new content is coming to Bandai Namco’s Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival in the free spring and summer updates, available to play right now!

May update

As part of the May update, you can now grab new outfit items for our beloved DON-chan in the Shin Japan Heroes Universe Pack DLC, including costumes styled after Godzilla, Evangelion Unit-01 (who famously loved a bit of drumming), Ultraman and more.

This brand-new DLC includes a new song from Yoko Takahashi: Crime and Punishment – Those who are unwilling to pray, which comes with a new background for single-player mode, alongside a few familiar faces from the Shin Japan Heroes universe to cheer you on!

New content from the Shin Japan Heroes Universe Pack DLC from Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, depicting characters from the Shin Japan Heroes Universe cheerleading you through an all-new song. — Shin Japan Heroes Universe Pack DLC, now available to play in Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival.

June update

With the June update comes the new party game mode, Run! Ninja Dojo. Start out as an apprentice ninja (with another appropriately adorable outfit change for DON-chan), and play with up to three friends as you execute accurate attacks and keep moving forward. Overcome tricky challenges from “authentic ninja” Kumo-zou as he summons swarms of angry wasps to obscure your screen and uses his Ninjutsu skills to change up the pattern of your attacks. Endure and take the lead to win yourself the title of Full-Fledged Ninja!
