Tales of Crestoria shutting down February 2022
Players who log in to Tales of Crestoria or check out the official website will now be greeted by a new message stating that the servers will close on February 7, 2022.
Tales of Crestoria launched July 2021, meaning that it didn’t even make it to two years before ending service.
It’s an unfortunate reality for mobile games, and one that the Tales series is very familiar with. Multiple mobile Tales titles have already been shutdown before Crestoria, with some not even available in Japan any more.
This doesn’t bode well for Tales of Luminaria, which only just released last week. It was already performing poorly due to a number of issues at launch, and the news of another Tales mobile game closing might be the final nail in the coffin.
