Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World gets new trailer, 3 physical editions
ININ Games and Studio Artdink have revealed a new trailer for Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World, along with more info on the various physical editions that are now available for pre-order.
The game’s name initially made it seem like a new title in the series, but Asha in Monster World actually turned out to be a remake of Wonder Boy IV.
Instead of using a 2D style similar to the other modern Wonder Boy releases, this remake is using 3D visuals. It certainly looks better than the reveal trailer, though many of the comments left on this new trailer still aren’t particularly positive.
If you’re after the original version of Wonder Boy IV instead, it’ll be bundled with all physical versions of Asha in Monster World — directly on the cart for Switch, and via a download code on PS4.
For fans that want something a little pricier, Strictly Limited Games have two Collector’s Editions for pre-order, alongside the regular versions. They’re packed with art, soundtracks, and other physical goodies.
All versions of Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World are planned to release Q2 2021 on Switch, PS4, and PC.
