Gravity Rush Remastered And Gravity Rush 2 Announced for PS4 with Trailers
Gravity Rush (known as Gravity Daze in Japan) was a bit of an underrated gem on PlayStation Vita — but then what on Vita isn’t? A critical darling and rightly so it’s become one of the console’s must-plays. Thankfully with the announcement of Gravity Rush 2 along with Gravity Rush Remastered, both for PS4, the series will be able to reach a wider audience and the recognition it deserves!
Both games were announced by sony at TGS during their own SCEJA Press Conference 2015. Here’s a look at both games:
Gravity Rush 2
The game should be coming out sometime in 2016. It doesn’t look like it will be coming to PlayStation Vita, which is sort of a shame in my heart, you know?
Gravity Rush Remastered
Gravity Rush Remastered will release 10th December 2015 in Japan, with a nice looking collector’s edition that comes with a Kat figma! It will be releasing 9th February 2016 in North America, and 10th February in Europe — the collector’s edition status of which is unclear.
The remaster will include all of the DLC from the original Vita release, and is being handled by Bluepoint Games, responsible for the fantastic remasters The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PlayStation 3, and the upcoming Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for PlayStation 4. So rest assured it’s in safe hands!
