The Ultimate Final Fantasy XIV Cookbook announced for November

In what might be one of the few times a video game cookbook actually makes sense, Square Enix has announced The Ultimate Final Fantasy XIV Cookbook.

The Ultimate Final Fantasy XIV Cookbook contains recipes for dishes from across Hydaelyn and Norvrandt, each with its own flavour text and step-by-step directions.

It’ll release worldwide on November 9, and is available for pre-order now at multiple retailers — while it is possible to order directly from the Square Enix Store, it’s currently cheaper at Amazon in the UK.

Final Fantasy XIV’s mix of real world cultural influences leads to a wide variety of food being represented in-game, so this cookbook is bound to have something for everyone. Now we just need books for the other crafting classes — I’m sure nothing could go wrong with guides on how to make swords or brew potions.
