Final Fantasy IV pixel remaster launches September 8
Final Fantasy IV, the most re-released title in the series, is getting yet another version with its pixel remaster launch on September 8, 2021 for mobile and PC via Steam.
As with the previous pixel remasters, this latest release of Final Fantasy IV will feature redrawn sprites, a rearranged soundtrack, and a handful of gameplay changes (though most additional content from previous releases wont be included).
The Final Fantasy IV pixel remaster costs £12.99 on Steam, with a 20% discount in effect until September 23. All six games in the collection can still be bought together for 22% off as well — Final Fantasy V and VI have a 2021 release window.
Despite some grievances, the pixel remasters are worth picking up if you’re a newcomer to the franchise — just make sure to change the awful font.
