NieR Re[in]carnation global will include Japanese voices, 2P
Nier Re[in]carnation‘s global version releases next week, and the development team has shared a few details on what to expect at launch.
Firstly, Japanese voices have been confirmed for the full release. These weren’t present in the beta, but are being added due to a lot of requests from players.
The team also announced that the NieR: Automata crossover event (available at launch) will also include 2P — endgame Final Fantasy XIV players should be familiar with her. She’s currently exclusive to the global version, though there’s nothing stopping her from being added to the Japanese server eventually.
Pre-registration for Nier Re[in]carnation is available now for Android and iOS, ahead of the game’s launch on July 28. If the global server gets the same events as its Japanese counterpart, then other NieR and Drakengard characters will be added via events over the next year.
