Smash Ultimate Pyra and Mythra showcase set for March 4

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai will be back once again for another DLC showcase. This time he’ll be covering Xenoblade 2‘s Pyra and Mythra, who were recently announced during the first Nintendo Direct of 2021.

It’ll premier on March 4 at 2PM GMT, lasting around 35 minutes in total. Because there are always people with unreasonably high expectations, Nintendo confirmed that there will be no additional fighter announcements.

With their release date being announced during the showcase, it shouldn’t be long before the duo will be available in-game. All previous Fighter Pass 2 characters were released within two weeks of their initial announcements so, if Pyra and Mythra follow the same trend, they might release directly after the presentation.
